The Edith Carrier Arboretum on the James Madison University campus in Harrisonburg, Virginia is a very nice walk in the woods.
From a bald cypress starting to shed in the late fall to a weeping willow, around the lake or through the woods this is an ARBORETUM and makes no pretensions to being other than a tree garden.
Since this is a university campus the parking was very restricted but we enjoyed the opportunity to just wander around and stretch our legs. Lots and lots of tree varieties but this is not a place to look for flowers.
